Thousands of girls are members of Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania throughout our 30-county footprint, but there would be no Girl Scouts without our volunteers.
Our Girl Scout volunteers tell us they do it for the girls, not for their own recognition. We still wanted to showcase the people who go the extra mile for Girl Scouts. This year, one leader received the Thanks II Award, while we presented Honor Pins and Appreciation Pins to 20 volunteers. Volunteers of Excellence awards were presented to 38 adults, while four volunteers were honored as Juliette’s Pearls and 10 women were recognized with Heart of PA awards. Eight women received Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA certificates.

Is there a volunteer you’d like to recognize for their efforts? Now’s the time to shine the spotlight on Girl Scout volunteers who go above and beyond. Submit your nomination by Sunday, Feb. 11. You can nominate as many volunteers as you want. It’s a quick and easy way to say thank you to the people who make Girl Scouts great for everyone.
