Members of the S’mores Executive Club enjoy Media Day
High-achieving entrepreneurs in our Fall Product and Cookie Program celebrated their success during the recent S’mores Executive Club Media Day in Harrisburg at our Trindle Road headquarters.
The event drew close to 40 Girl Scouts, who enjoyed hands-on workshops that focused on social media marketing, photography, and best practices for your cookie booth. They participated in photo shoots using fun props and some of the incentives available through the Cookie Program. The girls also shared their knowledge of social media platforms, learned some tips and tricks for posting, and discussed how to stay safe online.
Participants enjoyed a pizza lunch with Janet Donovan, President and CEO of Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania, who recognized the girls for their achievements and shared in their excitement of the 2024 Cookie Season kickoff.
Girl Scouts also enjoyed interacting with real axolotls, the mascot of our 2023-24 Girl Scout Cookie Program, with Fleetwood-based Dragon’s Axies. Sarah Markle, an axolotl breeder and aquarist, brought several of the amphibians to the event and provided information about the creatures, including care and upkeep.
