Girl Scouts start strong in new year

Mentorship: 1 troop mentors 4 younger troops

The girls of Troop 70724 hosted a cookie rally for 33 Daisies and Brownies from four troops of Service Unit 707 in Lititz Jan. 10. The girls learned sales tips, money skills, and cookie facts. They also had a chance to taste the new Exploremores, with 90% of the scouts enjoying them. They said the cookies tasted like hot chocolate, a chocolate milkshake, or a chocolate ice cream sandwich. The older scouts learned how to lead and adapt in the moment to the needs of others. Everyone had a great time.
