Girl Scouts had the amazing opportunity to experience riding the trolley through Scranton and across Nay Aug Gorge. The gorge provided a breathtaking view of nature and allowed Girl Scouts to reflect on the beauty of the natural environment.

That wasn’t the only place the trolley traveled. Girls also stopped at PNC Field, the Railriders baseball team stadium, and back to the trolley museum located in Steamtown National Historic Site. Sponsored by the Lackawanna County Arts & Culture Program, this experience even provided some Girl Scout spirit by singing songs like “the Cutest Worm” and “Pizza Man” along the way.

The trolley museum taught the Girl Scouts all about their founder Juliette Gordon Low and allowed them to dive into enriching Girl Scout history. Everyone had a great discussion about how to be a sister to all Girl Scouts. The girls even had a chance to make plans to meet up with one another again! These girls are developing lifelong friendships from Girl Scouts.
