Wallenpaupack Area School District in Hawley offers a Kids’ Food Pantry in each of its
schools to provide non-perishable food to families in need.

To supplement the pantry, local Cadette Troop 50143 collected monetary donations and created meal kits for families in their middle school.

Each Girl Scout was allotted a budget and recipes to shop for and create different meals. Combining these efforts with additional food donations, the troop created 26 meal kits for their school pantry, which were sent home with families.
