Finishing strong in Forty Fort
UPDATED at 12:30 p.m.: As we wrap up cookie distribution in the northeast region of our council, the chilly weather can’t stop our excitement! Today, 7,551 cases—totaling an incredible 90,612 packages—are making their way into the hands of our dedicated volunteers from this location. Cookie Pickup in Full Swing in the Heart of Our Council!
UPDATED at 10:30 a.m.: Our council serves a vast 30-county region, but our home base is right here in the Harrisburg area. Today, 5,818 cases of cookies are heading out with dedicated Girl Scout leaders and volunteers, ready to reach girls and their eager customers. The excitement of cookie season is in full swing!

Mega Drop Begins in the White Rose City
UPDATED at 9:30 a.m.: We’re kicking off this chilly morning with a major event—our busiest Mega Drop distribution site! In York, dedicated Girl Scout staff members are hard at work unloading an incredible 8,732 cases of cookies into the cars, trucks, and vans of our amazing volunteers. That’s more than 104,000 packages of cookies! Let the cookie season begin!

The sweetest day of the season is almost here! Early tomorrow morning (February 22), Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania will kick off the annual Girl Scout Cookie Mega Drop—one of the biggest and most exciting events of the year!
Mega Drop is a high-energy, all-day event where Girl Scout troops pick up their cookie orders from designated “mega” distribution sites, ensuring their customers get their favorite cookies as soon as possible.
This year, four locations will be buzzing with activity:
- Colonial Park Mall – Harrisburg
- Susquehanna Mall – Selinsgrove
- Matheson Transfer Warehouse – Forty Fort
- York Water Company – York
